Nike Drops All-New One Piece Devil Fruit Sneaker Designs for Fall 2026 Collection

This fall, Nike will release a special Air Max Plus collection inspired by the popular anime One Piece. The collection includes three different shoe designs, each representing a unique Devil Fruit power: the Mera Mera no Mi, the Ope Ope no Mi, and the Gomu Gomu no Mi.

  • Nike x One Piece “Mera” Air Max Plus
  • Nike x One Piece “Ope” Air Max Plus
  • Nike x One Piece “Gomu” Air Max Plus

The Mera Air Plus Max sneakers take inspiration from the Flame-Flame Fruit and pay homage to Portgas D. Ace, a memorable and tragic character from the popular anime One Piece. As the brother of the main character, Monkey D. Luffy, Ace first appeared wielding the power of this fruit during the Alabasta Saga. Later, in the Dressrosa Saga, Luffy’s other brother, Sabo, gains control of it.

The new Nike Air Max Plus, nicknamed “Mera,” has a striking design with a vibrant yellow-orange fade and flame graphics on the heel. This look is inspired by the Flame-Flame Fruit and its fiery characters.

The design of the “Ope” Air Max Plus takes inspiration from the Ope Ope no Mi, a powerful Devil Fruit. Also known as the Op-Op Fruit, it allows the user to control anything within a certain area, almost like performing surgery. Before Trafalgar Law, a friend of the Straw Hat crew, gained this ability, the Ope Ope no Mi belonged to Corazon, the less villainous brother of Donquixote Doflamingo.

These new Nike Air Max Plus sneakers, nicknamed “Ope,” come in a deep burgundy color with striking red accents, inspired by the look of the Heart Pirates from the anime One Piece.

The Nike x One Piece collection features three new shoe designs, but fans are especially eager to see the “Gomu” Air Max Plus sneakers. These shoes take inspiration from Monkey D. Luffy’s signature Devil Fruit and boast a striking purple and gold color scheme that already feels like a classic.

The Wano Arc of One Piece recently showed that the Gomu Gomu no Mi is actually far more significant than fans previously thought, making it a crucial element in the continuing story of Oda’s anime and manga.

Nike has officially announced a collaboration with One Piece, with sneakers expected to release between July and September 2026 and cost $180 per pair, according to sources like CrepProtect. The collection is rumored to also include hats, jerseys, and T-shirts, inspired by the popular anime series.

This collection is launching while One Piece is incredibly popular, with fans actively following the weekly manga chapters, the anime series, and more.
