Amy Beck, a teacher at Coyote Hills Elementary School in Peoria, Arizona, was placed on paid leave on April 27th while the school district investigates an issue, according to AZCentral.

The video first appeared on social media, but the original posting date is unknown. It gained renewed attention after Haley Beck was fired and her case became a national story.

I was really shocked to hear about a video that someone thought was way out of line. They actually filed a formal complaint on April 24th, asking the school district and the State Board of Education to look into what Amy Beck did. It just seems like they felt her behavior needed to be investigated.

Peoria Unified School District announced on April 27th that Amy Beck has been temporarily relieved of her teaching duties with pay as they investigate a matter internally. The school informed families that a substitute teacher will be covering her classes during this time.

This leave of absence follows increased attention on the Beck family, stemming from the recent firing of Noah’s sister, Haley Beck, from Centennial High School – a school within the Peoria Unified School District.

An investigation revealed that Haley Beck engaged in inappropriate behavior with a student, leading to a sexual relationship. Peoria police have recommended she be charged with pandering, a serious crime that could result in a prison sentence of up to 2.5 years and a fine of up to $150,000.
