Nintendo is releasing new colors for its Joy-Con 2 controllers: a soft Light Purple and a fresh Light Green. These pastel shades add a subtle pop of color, and you can now pre-order a set for $100 – the same price as the existing Light Blue and Light Red options. Each set includes matching wrist straps and will be available starting February 12th.
The new controllers are launching alongside the release of Mario Tennis Fever. You can pre-order a physical copy of the game now at Amazon, Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and GameStop. Plus, the game works with the original Joy-Con controllers, which are still easy to find.
If you’d rather not wait for new controllers, there are other options for your Switch 2. You can buy individual Joy-Con 2 controllers (left and right) or the more standard Switch 2 Pro Controller, which is a durable choice for gaming. Like many products, these accessories did become more expensive last year – Nintendo increased the price of most items by $5 to $10.
