Twitch streamer Morgpie was banned after a Dark Souls stream went too far, leading to a violation of the platform’s rules.

Morgpie is a well-known Twitch streamer who has often pushed boundaries with controversial content, and is credited with making the “topless” trend popular on the platform.

Since then, the streamer has been carefully following the rules. She’s even included costumed characters in her broadcasts without facing any penalties.

On May 24th, Morgpie’s stream of Dark Souls – which she jokingly referred to as “Dark Soles” – was temporarily suspended.

Morgpie’s ‘Dark Soles’ stream gets her banned on Twitch

In her most recent stream, Morgpie got creative with her setup, using her feet as a makeshift green screen to display her gameplay of Dark Souls 3.

The VOD has since been deleted, but clips remain, showing the streamer with her feet up on her desk, broadcasting Dark Souls on her literal soles.

The streamer shared a screenshot on X (formerly Twitter) of an email from Twitch, letting her followers know she’d been temporarily banned from the platform.

The streamer’s Twitch channel is currently unavailable because it broke Twitch’s rules.

So, Twitch has rules about focusing on, well, private parts – even if they’re covered up – for too long. Honestly, I’m worried that showing my feet for extended periods might break those rules, which is a bit frustrating because it’s not like I’m doing anything inappropriate!

It’s not clear if something else happened during the broadcast that resulted in the ban.

Morgie mentioned “Dark Soles” will be back over the weekend, suggesting her ban will likely be no longer than five days.

She’s part of a growing trend. Back in April, an Uber Eats driver gained attention for adding pictures of her feet to delivery updates, hoping customers would tip her more.

Meanwhile, Clash of Clans released a $12 “foot tribute” bundle for foot enthusiasts.
