Thousand Games announced they’re launching Monochrome Echoes – black – on PC through Steam. The game will initially be available as an Early Access title, with the testing phase anticipated to last about three months.
The original Monochrome Echoes – white – centered around storytelling. This new version will emphasize replayability with randomly generated dungeons and a system for creating unique characters.
Despite announcing plans in April of last year to release an English version of Monochrome Echoes – white, Thousand Games hasn’t yet added English language support to the game’s Steam page. The page hasn’t been updated since June, despite ongoing development.
You can find the official screenshots and descriptions for Monochrome Echoes – black – right below.

World Setting
You are one of the Clan of Sealing, a bloodline blessed with the power to seal away Demon Lords.
When the time is right, the Clan draws upon the goddess’s power and travels between worlds to fulfill their holy purpose.
to reseal the revived Demon Lords.
At present, there are four worlds that require the Demon Lord’s resealing:
Jambier, the world of dense jungles
Blue Moon, the world of vast oceans
Gomastra, the world of endless deserts
Gilgis, the world filled with the stench of decay
Within each of these worlds, a Demon Lord that once rampaged across the land remains sealed.
Though the seals are layered many times over, it is only a matter of time before they are broken.
Each Demon Lord is imprisoned on an isolated island known as the Isle of Sealing.
To get to the Isle of Sealing, you’ll need to beat the bosses in each world – they each have a Sealing Key you must obtain.
After that, you’ll be able to enter the Isle of Sealing and explore its maze-like depths to imprison the Demon Lord again.
This mission must be repeated across all four worlds.
But the time you are given is short:
In each world, on each island, you have only five days.
