The game Marvel’s Wolverine was first revealed with a short teaser showing Logan in Madripoor. A longer, more detailed trailer was released in September 2025, featuring action and a glimpse of a Sentinel. This suggests the game will be a worldwide adventure filled with battles against iconic villains from the X-Men universe.

Many fans were worried that we might not see Marvel’s Wolverine released on schedule, as Insomniac Games hadn’t shared any new updates. However, those concerns have been put to rest! Unlike Nintendo, Sony isn’t holding back on announcements. Their upcoming State of Play presentation will be over an hour long, suggesting they have a lot to share, including new game reveals and updates. While Marvel’s Wolverine will be a major focus, it won’t be the only game featured. It’s been a while since fans last saw gameplay for Marvel’s Wolverine, so a substantial update is expected.

What Other Games Will Be Featured In the June 2026 State of Play?

With Saros no longer scheduled for release, the major PlayStation exclusives currently confirmed for 2026 are Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls, Horizon Hunters Gathering, Phantom Blade Zero, and Marvel’s Wolverine. If Sony plans a lengthy showcase, it suggests we’ll also see announcements from other game publishers.

People are eagerly anticipating news about the next Final Fantasy 7 Remake game, as well as updates on Grand Theft Auto 6.
