Elderly influencer ‘Grandma From Heaven’ dies at 106-years-old

Brazilian influencer Vó do Céu, known online as “Grandma From Heaven,” has died at the age of 106.

Imaculada Moura shared the sad news on Instagram on May 19th that her grandmother, known as Vó do Céu, had passed away on May 15th. Vó do Céu had become popular online thanks to Moura’s Instagram account, which often featured her fun personality and witty humor.

Moura shared that she’ll always cherish the guidance and lessons her grandmother gave her, remembering her as someone who always spoke with wisdom and depth.

With over 355,000 Instagram followers, Moura gained a large audience by sharing videos and photos of her grandmother. Known as Vó do Céu, the grandmother became popular for her funny reactions and love of food, making her a fan favorite.

106-year-old influencer dies days after falling and hitting her head

Moura shared that her grandmother, born in 1919, lived for over a hundred years. She was a loving mother, grandmother to two, and great-grandmother to four, and was deeply religious as a devout Catholic.

Moura shared that when God calls someone home, there’s nothing anyone can do to change it. While she’s heartbroken and misses the person deeply, she finds comfort knowing they are now at peace. She’s now focusing on grieving and moving forward with strength.

I always admired her strength, and I knew losing her would be painful, but I didn’t realize how deeply I’d feel it. I’m so grateful for everything she did.

With a heavy heart, she shared that her beloved daughter completed her earthly journey and is now in heaven, becoming a shining star – the most beautiful and perfect one in her eyes.

Shortly before she passed away, Moura requested prayers for her grandmother, who had been hospitalized after a fall and head injury.

After the news was shared, people filled Moura’s comment section with messages of sympathy, celebrating her close relationship with her grandmother and expressing gratitude to the family for sharing Vó do Céu’s life with them online.

Vó do Céu passed away after unexpectedly gaining a large online following later in life. She was a remarkable example of a centenarian who became a popular internet personality, known for her kindness and funny personality which touched people all over the world.

Born just after World War I, 106-year-old Vó do Céu is possibly the oldest person to become famous online.
