Good news for Markiplier fans in the UK: his first movie, Iron Lung, will be showing in cinemas thanks to a deal with a large UK cinema company.
Markiplier has been developing his upcoming horror movie for several years, and he’s been firm about wanting it to be shown in theaters rather than released directly online or elsewhere.
After years of anticipation, it was announced in late 2025 that the movie Iron Lung would be released in US cinemas.
Initially, the film was shown in smaller, local cinemas. However, due to overwhelming fan interest, major chains like AMC, Cinemark, and Regal began offering nationwide screenings starting January 30, 2026.
After hearing the news, Markiplier shared a video where he explained that he’d been asked about showing the film in other countries. He wasn’t sure if he had the necessary permissions to play it in theaters outside of the United States.

The release of the movie Iron Lung is now fully set: Cineworld, a large UK cinema chain, confirmed they’ll begin showing it on January 29th, a day earlier than most US theaters.
Cineworld announced that tickets for the film Iron Lung are now available for purchase. You can see it in theaters starting January 29th, following a request from fans.

British movie fans are absolutely loving the film, and tickets are selling out quickly as people rush to see it.
People in Canada can now watch Iron Lung in movie theaters, specifically in the provinces of Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and Alberta.
Currently, cinemas outside of the UK, US, and Canada haven’t announced showings of Iron Lung. However, considering Markiplier’s past statements, it’s likely he’ll arrange screenings in other countries before the film’s release on January 30th.
