Marvel has a habit of accidentally revealing plot details, and the new trailer for Daredevil: Born Again did it again. The footage showed a significant event in Jessica Jones’s life before she’s even been on screen, proving a lot can happen in seven years.

The latest trailer for Daredevil: Born Again reveals that Jessica Jones has a daughter. In the trailer, actress Krysten Ritter’s character says someone unexpectedly appeared at her home while her daughter was present.
The footage does not show the child on screen.
Okay, so as a huge MCU fan, I’m really curious about Jessica Jones’ daughter. Marvel hasn’t told us anything about who the dad is or even what the little one’s name is yet! In the comics, Jessica has a daughter named Danielle with Luke Cage, and everyone’s wondering if the movies will go that route too. It’s still a mystery!
Throughout her Netflix series, Jessica had a few important relationships. These included connections with Luke Cage, building superintendent Oscar Arocho, and the manipulative Erik Gelden. Her relationship with Luke Cage was the most prominent, ultimately leading to them getting married and having a child in the comics.
Luke Cage and Jessica Jones were married and raised their daughter, Danielle, together in the comic books. Recent photos from the set of the new Daredevil: Born Again season show that Mike Colter will be returning as Luke Cage, making him the most likely candidate to play Danielle’s father in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, considering their established on-screen relationship.
The latest trailer shows Bullseye, played by Wilson Bethel, in a violent fight scene at a diner. We also get a glimpse of Jon Bernthal’s updated appearance as Frank Castle in The Punisher: One Last Kill, which will be available on Disney+ starting May 12th. While Charlie Cox and Vincent D’Onofrio have confirmed Bernthal isn’t in the second season of their show, this marks Jessica Jones’ first live-action appearance in the Marvel Cinematic Universe in almost seven years.
