The awards season leading up to 2026 has officially begun with the 83rd Golden Globes ceremony on January 11th. Nikki Glaser is back to host, and the show will feature presenters like Charli XCX, Ayo Edebiri, and Julia Roberts, along with many other glamorous stars. Will Sinners win Best Motion Picture – Drama? And will Leonardo DiCaprio’s action film, One Battle After Another, beat out Marty Supreme for the award in the Comedy category? Wondering how to watch and see who wins? You don’t need a special code – just see the details below.
How to watch the Golden Globes live
You can watch the awards show live on CBS starting at 8 p.m. Eastern/5 p.m. Pacific time. If you subscribe to Paramount+ Premium, you can also stream it live. Paramount+ Essentials subscribers can watch it the next day. If you’ve cut the cord and use a streaming service that includes CBS—like Hulu + Live TV, Fubo, or DirecTV—you can watch live there. Fubo and DirecTV even offer free trials, so you might be able to watch for free!
The best way to watch this, and most live events, is with a simple, inexpensive antenna you can find at a dollar store. After the small one-time cost of the antenna, you’ll get a free, high-definition picture. Plus, you’ll avoid adding another streaming service subscription – and you won’t have to share your email or personal information with yet another company.
How to stream the red-carpet coverage
If you enjoy seeing the red carpet arrivals and pre-show coverage, there are several ways to tune in. Live From E!: Golden Globes 2026 starts at 6 p.m. ET/3 p.m. PT on E!, Peacock, USANetwork.com, and the E! and USA apps. Variety is also hosting a preshow, presented by Fire TV, beginning at 3:30 p.m. PT/6:30 p.m. ET. You can watch it for free on Fire TV devices, Echo Show, Fire Tablets, as well as on Variety‘s YouTube channel and website. Of course, you can also follow all the action live on X (formerly Twitter), Bluesky, or Instagram – we’ll be posting updates there too!
