The popular free-to-play game Goddess of Victory: NIKKE from Shift Up will be hosting a new crossover event on February 12, 2026. This time, the event will introduce playable characters from the anime series Lycoris Recoil. Lycoris Recoil, which first aired in July 2022, follows Takina and Chisato, two young women who are secretly government-trained assassins disguised as high school students.
Shift Up promoted the event with a trailer:
The new trailer features characters from Lycoris Recoil – Takina, Chisato, and Kurumi – entering the world of NIKKE: Goddess of Victory. They team up and interact with the game’s Cafe Sweety members: Sugar, Frima, and Milk.
The upcoming event, “Lie, Cause, Recoil,” will introduce a new campaign map modeled after the LycoReco cafe from the anime. Players will be able to unlock the main characters, Takina and Chisato, as powerful new units through the game’s gacha system. Takina is a sniper, while Chisato uses a submachine gun. Kurumi will be available for free as an assault rifle unit during the event. The event also includes new outfits – band costumes for Takina and Chisato, and a LycoReco cafe uniform for Mast, obtainable through the costume gacha.
So, after the collab, the NIKKE update isn’t just about that event. They’re also making some core improvements to the game! I’m really excited because we’re getting more Favorite Items, which means I can power up my Nikkes – Centi, Privaty, Moran, and Zwei specifically. Plus, they’re adding new story missions that continue the narrative from the 3rd anniversary and everything that happened before. It’s cool to see the story keep moving forward!
So, Goddess of Victory: NIKKE is out now on PC, iOS, and Android! And get this – there’s a Lycoris Recoil crossover event dropping on February 12, 2026. I’m already hyped!
