Costco is bringing back a popular food court item at select locations, and customers are eager for it to be available everywhere.
Many Costco shoppers love finishing their trip with an affordable hot dog and drink from the food court. While pizza and chicken bakes are also popular choices, the food court actually offers a few other items as well.
Costco has been making small changes to its food court menus in the U.S. over the past year. For example, they recently added a calzone combo, but in the Chicago area, they’re now offering five-piece chicken tenders instead.
Reports suggest the popular shopping chain is bringing back deli mustard, an item they stopped selling last year.
Deli Mustard is popping back up in Costco
Some Costco locations in the US are now offering deli mustard as a condiment for their hot dogs, according to reports from customers and Parade magazine.
Customers first noticed the mustard was coming back in April, with a couple of stores in California offering it. Since then, people have also found it in stores across the country, not just in California.
Fans reported tracking the item as it traveled across the country, with one saying it was on its way back to Arizona. Another fan overheard the food court manager discussing plans to retrieve the label, and a third confirmed it had arrived back in Augusta.

As we mentioned, this item hasn’t been available in all Costco food courts since 2024. Whether your local Costco has it or not is uncertain – you’ll need to check in person to find out.
If the product becomes available nationwide, Costco will probably be the one to announce it. However, it’s currently unclear whether it will be released throughout the country.
Costco is currently offering a limited-time Caramel Churro Sundae. They’re also experimenting with building gas stations that don’t include a warehouse, a new concept for the company.
