A talented gamer recently completed all of the boss battles in Hollow Knight: Silksong without getting hit once, and they shared a video of their flawless run on YouTube.
Okay, so I’ve been diving into Hollow Knight: Silksong, and wow, it can be *tough*. Seriously, it’s a really challenging game, and I’ve noticed a lot of other players are already looking for ways to make it a little more manageable – some are even using mods just to get through it! It’s that kind of game where you really need to push yourself, but sometimes you just want to enjoy the adventure without *quite* so much frustration.
Many people are finding things difficult right now, but YouTuber CrankyTemplar is doing incredibly well. They’ve impressively completed a major challenge: beating every boss in the game without getting hit once.
The game just came out a little over a week ago, but one player quickly proved they were up to the task.
Hollow Knight: Silksong player beats every boss without a scratch
CrankyTemplar initially shared videos of themselves defeating each boss in Silksong individually, and recently combined all of that footage into a single, almost two-hour-long video.
He skillfully demonstrated how to defeat all the early game bosses, even including a tribute to a fan-designed boss created by a player who sadly passed away, showcasing a perfect playthrough.
During most battles, Hornet primarily fights with her needle and the Clawline ability. The content creator also utilized various tools to overcome the more challenging encounters.
Many viewers praised the creator in the comments, but also mentioned experiencing some frustrating restarts while trying to achieve this result. Although the attempt was successful, it wasn’t perfect, as these kinds of things typically require multiple tries.
Honestly, everyone I talked to loved the game and had a blast playing it. We all agreed the boss fights could use some work, but we’re super excited to jump into Steel Soul mode and see what the community comes up with for challenges. It’s gonna be tough – one death and you start all over – but that’s what makes it fun!
