They keep things pretty light and family-friendly, and avoid the really tough stuff. It feels like there’s so much more to explore about the impact of conflict on these characters.

As a fan, I think a Sgt. Rock movie would feel like a classic war film, but with a twist. It would take place in a world where people have superpowers, meaning both sides of the conflict would have incredible abilities and weapons. It wouldn’t be just a typical war story, but one where the stakes and the tools of war are much bigger and more fantastic.
