Nathan Fillion is a true fan of comic books, and that passion is probably why he’s becoming even more involved in the world of comics.

Lots of fantasy, action, and horror films showcase groups of characters with superpowers, and these groups often feature mostly boys and men. However, some movies highlight uniquely talented female characters who have captivated audiences for generations with their incredible abilities.

I’m really excited about this new docuseries, Born to Bowl! So far, only the first episode of the five-part series, which Ben Stiller produced, is out, but it’s already grabbed my attention. It feels really fresh and different from a lot of other things I’ve been watching.

It’s actually quite common for actors from Star Trek to also appear in comedic shows that playfully imitate the series. Several Star Trek veterans, including Tim Russ, Marina Sirtis, and Robert Picardo, have guest-starred on The Orville, for example. But it’s rare to see an actor working on a Star Trek project and a Star Trek parody in the same week.

Both Dune (2021) and Dune: Part Two (2024) are currently among the ten most-watched films on HBO Max, according to FlixPatrol. While Sinners, a recent Academy Award winner, is currently number one, Dune is in sixth place and Dune: Part Two is close behind in seventh. This news comes just after the first trailer for the next installment, Dune: Part Three, was released.

The BAFTAs often shake up predictions for the Oscars. A good example is Amy Madigan, who was widely expected to win the 2026 Best Supporting Actress Oscar. One of the biggest movie disappointments of 2017 was The Snowman. Despite featuring a strong cast including Michael Fassbender, Rebecca Ferguson, Charlotte Gainsbourg, J.K. Simmons, and Val Kilmer, the thriller failed to find an audience. It earned just $43 million globally—less than its $35 million production cost—and received a dismal 7% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

As a huge Daredevil fan, I was a little disappointed we only got one face-to-face between Daredevil and Kingpin in the first episode of the new season. Everyone’s hoping to see them really go at it again – it’s been a long wait since their last physical fight back in the final episode of the Netflix series in 2018! But even if they don’t throw down immediately, it feels like things are building to something huge. I’m expecting a lot more intense drama and a rivalry that’s bigger and better than ever before.

Alan Ritchson’s impressive physique definitely makes the current Jack Reacher a powerful action hero, but he’s not the strongest ever seen on TV. Throughout television history, several actors have portrayed characters with incredible strength, surpassing even Jack Reacher and solidifying their place as all-time greats.

While 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple hasn’t performed as well as the original 28 Years Later – earning $56 million compared to $151 million (according to Box Office Mojo) – there’s hope for the future of the franchise. An important upcoming announcement could ease concerns about its continuation.
