Pocketpair Publishing announced that Cassette Boy, a game created by a single developer, will officially launch on PC via Steam on January 15.
Okay, so SteamDB just dropped some info – Cassette Boy is officially launching on January 15th, but it’s based on Japanese time, which is GMT+9. That means if you’re west of Japan, like me, we’re getting it on January 14th! It’s a little later than they originally said back in October – they were aiming for sometime in 2025, but this is pretty close, and I’m just hyped to finally play it.
Pocketpair announced that Cassette Boy won’t be limited to PC; it’s also coming to consoles like Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S, with help from Forever Entertainment. Forever Entertainment has confirmed the console and PC versions will all be released at the same time.
You can find the release date announcement trailer right below.
