Bloodborne: Gehrman The First Hunter Gets Official October 2026 Release

Bloodborne is arguably the most eagerly awaited game from FromSoftware, with fans hoping for either a modern update or a true sequel. Sadly, those chances seem incredibly slim, even though there’s a lot of interest in a new Bloodborne game. The reasons behind this are complicated.

Rumors suggest that Bloodborne’s original PlayStation 4 code is extremely difficult to update, which could make a modern remake more expensive and time-consuming than fans expect. Further, Sony may also see the game as more of a cult favorite than a massive mainstream seller, so it hasn’t become a top business priority. On top of that, fan expectations are now so high that any reboot would face huge pressure to be nearly perfect.

All that considered, Bloodborne fans will absolutely want to mark their calendars for an upcoming stunning new release from Prime 1 Studio, Gehrman The First Hunter, officially licensed by Sony and expected to drop in October this year (via Sideshow).

Bloodborne is getting a brand-new official release from Sideshow featuring the iconic character Gehrman, the mysterious old hunter in a wheelchair who guides the player from the Hunter’s Dream, the hub area of the game. It’s a stunning quarter-scale statue that stands approximately 27 inches (68cm) tall and features the old hunter with swappable right hand parts with a Scythe and Curved Sword from the game.

You can now pre-order the Gehrman statue for $1,415. It’s expected to ship between October 2026 and March 2027. This limited-edition, highly detailed statue features a stunning Bloodborne-themed base and will be a standout piece for any fan. If you order directly from Prime 1 Studio, you might receive it as early as August, but supplies are very limited.

The statue comes in two versions: a standard edition and a bonus edition. The standard version costs a little less, but it doesn’t include the extra right-hand attachment that holds the famous Curved Sword.

As Bloodborne fans will remember, Gehrman was one of the first hunters and helped found the Healing Church’s hunter organization, but he eventually became trapped in the Dream by a powerful cosmic being called the Moon Presence.

By the end of the game, it’s revealed that Gehrman is essentially a prisoner and caretaker of the Dream, forced to guide generations of hunters through endless cycles of violence. Depending on the ending, you either fight and kill him to take his place, submit to him and wake up from the nightmare, or transcend the cycle entirely.

The limited-edition run of Bloodborne‘s Gehrman The First Hunter statues will only see a small number of units ship worldwide, so be sure to claim yours today before they sell out.
