Plarium, the studio behind the popular mobile and PC game Raid: Shadow Legends, just announced a new partnership. Starting today and lasting until April 8th, players will be able to experience content from Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed within the game. This collaboration follows previous crossovers with other well-known franchises like Monster Hunter, Alien, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
Okay, so I’m super hyped because this collab is bringing a brand new dungeon to the game! And get this – we’ll be able to unlock some seriously iconic characters from the Assassin’s Creed franchise. I’m talking Ezio, Edward, Kassandra, Bayek, and even Basim! I can’t wait to play as them all.
Plarium’s Ronen Gross, VP of business development, said the studio collaborated closely with Ubisoft to accurately bring the assassins into the game, ensuring each character’s special abilities, weapons, and movements were faithfully recreated.
Collaborating with such a well-known franchise raised our creative expectations, but the unique style and diverse settings of the Assassin’s Creed universe felt like a perfect fit for Raid’s world.
Each Assassin’s Creed character can be unlocked in a variety of ways. Here’s a breakdown of how, according to Plarium.
- Ezio: Free via Loyalty Program on the 7th day of logging into RAID, with additional rewards up to 14 days including an Ezio avatar and in-game resources.
- Kassandra: Available via Fusion Event for all players from January 8th through January 24th, then through Shards until April 8th. Requires completion of specific in-game events and tournaments to gather the necessary resources.
- Edward Kenway, Bayek, and Basim: Available through Shards and limited-time events throughout the crossover.
This special event won’t last forever, but any new characters you earn during it are yours to keep and play with even after it’s over.
Raid is available to download for free on mobile devices through the App Store, Google Play, and Aptoide. You can also play on PC by downloading it from the Microsoft Store, Epic Store, Steam, or Plarium Play.
Several new Assassin’s Creed games are currently in development. These include Assassin’s Creed Jade, a game for mobile devices, Assassin’s Creed Codename Hexe, which features a unique cat simulator element, a multiplayer game similar to Fall Guys, and a title created specifically for Netflix. The most recent main game released was Assassin’s Creed Shadows in 2025.
