The Arc Raiders winter event, Cold Snap, is now over. The game’s developer, Embark, has released data highlighting what players accomplished during the event.
A recent social media post from the game’s developer highlighted some amazing player achievements. They revealed that players threw a whopping 95 million snowballs, knocking out 91 million other players! Snowballs were also effective against tougher enemies, with players taking down 10,577 Arc enemies. And it wasn’t just snowballs causing trouble – 3.5 million players were defeated by the cold!
The Cold Snap event in the game included fireworks, which players used extensively – launching 2.9 million rounds and throwing 9.2 million firecrackers. The event also saw a lot of players enjoying the relaxed atmosphere, with 108 people playing their instruments continuously for over 20 minutes.
We saw an incredible 95 million snowballs thrown, hosted a million Candleberry Banquets, and had 108 Raiders throw some epic parties! We battled the ARC and braved the cold, and we’re still here. Do you have a favorite memory from the winter update? Share your Cold Snap stories with us!

Arc Raiders has been a big success for publisher Nexon, exceeding 12.4 million in sales and bringing in hundreds of millions of dollars. A recent update to the game adjusted the power of some weapons and added new cosmetic items for players.
With Arc Raiders proving so popular, it’s not surprising that Hollywood is interested in adapting it for the screen. Embark has received proposals for both TV series and movies, but hasn’t signed any agreements yet.
TopMob gave Arc Raiders a fantastic score of 9 out of 10. Reviewer Mark Delaney praised the game’s cooperative spirit, saying that the willingness of players to help each other—rather than fight—makes it one of the best multiplayer experiences he’s ever had, and suggests a positive outlook for humanity.
