Arc Raiders became incredibly popular in 2025, and its player base continues to expand. Recent data from Alinea Analytics shows that the game reached a record number of daily players on Sunday, January 4th.
On January 4th, the game had 3.2 million players active each day across all platforms. Over the weekend, it also sold over 12 million copies, according to recent reports.
Arc Raiders sales slowed down in early December, but a recent 20% discount – dropping the price to $32 – and the holiday break gave sales a noticeable lift, according to a new report.
Alinea announced that Arc Raiders has generated an estimated $350 million in revenue across all platforms, despite its $40 price tag. The game is doing especially well on Steam, making up over 53.5% of total sales in January. It recently reached a peak of 466,372 concurrent players, which is only about 3% lower than its all-time Steam peak of 481,966.
Arc Raiders has been well-received, though some players have criticized its use of AI-generated voices. The game’s developer, Embark, recently explained their decision, with CEO Patrick Söderlund stating that AI can greatly assist developers and ultimately improve the experience for players.
