Be warned, this article contains spoilers for The Devil Wears Prada 2. Anne Hathaway explains how the ending for her character, Andy, is different in the sequel compared to the first movie.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, Anne Hathaway shared that she appreciated the sequel’s ending because it showed Andy still working with a team. She said this offered her a sense of hope amidst all the chaos in the world. You can read her full thoughts below.
The first movie ended with Andy striking out on her own, but in this one, she realizes she needs to work with others. It really highlights how much stronger the three of them are as a team, even though there isn’t one single leader. Seeing them persevere through everything felt really hopeful and encouraging, especially with so much going on in the world. It reminded me that I should keep pushing forward too.
