Fans are already excitedly sharing their picks online, and some are even hoping Patrick Gibson, who voices James Bond in the new video game ‘First Light,’ could also play him in a movie.
According to Deadline, MGM has four key requirements that any potential candidate must fulfill.
They’re looking for a British actor, between 28 and 33 years old, to play the role. People involved with the project say he needs to immediately project a physically intimidating presence – someone who looks capable of overpowering you quickly and effortlessly.
The decision will hinge on finding an actor who is simply the right fit for the character of James Bond. The source also confirmed that a non-white actor could be chosen if they meet that standard.
We’ve received a huge number of submissions – both from well-known and unknown actors. However, the casting process hasn’t started yet, and won’t begin until Denis Villeneuve completes work on the Dune film.
Okay, so Dune: Part Three is officially finished! It’s hitting theaters in December 2026, which is awesome. Now, Denis Villeneuve can really dive in and put his unique creative touch on the whole Dune universe – something he’s been building towards for years, honestly. It’s exciting to think about what he’ll do with it!
