Adin Ross, a popular streamer on Kick, is being compared to Asmongold after admitting he hadn’t showered in two days and doesn’t believe daily showering is important.
Okay, so everyone talks about how messy I am, and honestly, it’s probably true. It’s gotten to the point where people are kinda obsessed with it! I even told a story once about how a dead rat basically woke me up with its smell – yeah, it was gross. And I was joking around about not showering for three months and basically turning into some kind of… creature, saying I was ‘evolving’ and growing a layer of dead skin. It was all a bit of a joke, but it definitely got people talking about how… let’s just say ‘natural’ my living space is.
Viewers have often reacted negatively when streamers share details about their personal hygiene, or lack of it. Recently, Adin Ross became the focus of this criticism after disclosing how infrequently he showered during a livestream in January 2026.
Adin Ross grosses out viewers after saying daily showers aren’t realistic
Ross caused a negative reaction from his audience when he playfully mentioned it had been six days since his last shower. He immediately clarified he was joking, admitting he hadn’t showered for just two days.
However, that’s not the main reason people are disturbed. Ross then claimed it’s unreasonable to expect daily showers, suggesting you only need to clean up when you’re actually dirty.
I’m going to be real with you all – I seriously doubt any of you shower every single day. I just don’t believe it, and I’m sorry if that sounds harsh.
Honestly, hearing people say they shower every day just feels totally fake to me. I mean, I get why you guys might say that on stream – you’re clearly in amazing shape, tall and ripped – but come on, nobody showers that often! Unless you’re swimming in the ocean or a pool every day, it just doesn’t seem realistic. It’s just not true, in my opinion.
However, if you’re simply spending time outdoors or relaxing in bed, you don’t necessarily shower every day.
Adin Ross claims that showering every day isn’t typical. He insists he showered recently – about two days ago – and finds it hard to believe others do it daily. He only thinks people might shower every day if they’re swimming in the ocean or a pool.

People quickly made fun of Ross online, with one user tweeting, “He has plenty of time, but can’t even take a shower?”
“I have showered once a day pretty consistently my entire life,” another said.
“That’s still 180 times more a year than Asmon,” another joked.
Emiru isn’t the only streamer whose hygiene habits have become a topic of conversation. Earlier this year, she faced criticism for admitting she only takes baths, sometimes several times a day, and avoids showering altogether, explaining she does this to stay clean.
In 2022, Twitch streamer Fuslie jokingly received a care package from Dove after revealing she doesn’t use a washcloth or soap when she showers, relying instead on the suds from her shampoo to clean her body.
