Ariana Grande is known for her incredible impressions, and it seems like she could pull off a Cher impersonation anytime! She’s returning to host Saturday Night Live for the third time on December 20th, and this time, Cher will be the musical guest – a treat for fans. Grande was fantastic when she last hosted in 2024, delivering memorable sketches like “Charades With Mom” and launching the hilarious “Domingo” series. While Cher doesn’t have a new project coming out in 2025, she released a Christmas album simply titled Christmas in 2023, so expect some festive tunes – maybe even “DJ Play a Christmas Song!”
Melissa McCarthy returns to host Saturday Night Live on December 6th for the sixth time, marking her first time as host in eight years, though she did make a memorable appearance as Sean Spicer in the past. New musical guest Dijon will join her. Then, on December 13th, Josh O’Connor, known for Wake Up Dead Man, will host for the first time, with Lily Allen as the musical guest. Allen hasn’t been on SNL in nearly 20 years, since 2007, and her performance is expected to playfully disrupt the release of Netflix’s Stranger Things while showcasing songs from her album West End Girl. She’s planning a lively and memorable show at 30 Rock.
