Okay, so I’m really curious to see what Madden 26 thinks will happen in Week 9 of the NFL! Last week, the game actually did pretty well, predicting 9 out of 13 games correctly. That brings its overall record for the season to 76 wins and 45 losses. I’m hoping it can keep up the good work, so I’m excited to see how it simulates all the games this weekend. Let’s see if Madden 26 can nail its predictions in Week 9!

Baltimore Ravens at Miami Dolphins – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| BAL | 7 | 7 | 7 | 10 | 31 |
| MIA | 10 | 6 | 3 | 3 | 22 |
Lamar Jackson shined in his return as the Ravens win two in a row.
Miami started strong, with Tua Tagovailoa throwing for two touchdowns in the first half – although they missed one extra point. However, Baltimore’s defense tightened up, holding Miami to only six points in the second half.
The Ravens’ offense played well the entire game. Quarterback Jackson threw for two touchdowns, one of which was a 24-yard pass to Zay Flowers during the third quarter. In the fourth quarter, Derrick Henry scored a two-yard touchdown, giving Baltimore a 28-19 lead.
Miami narrowed the gap with a field goal, but Baltimore quickly answered with one of their own, maintaining their lead and keeping the game out of reach for the Dolphins.
Chicago Bears at Cincinnati Bengals – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| CHI | 3 | 10 | 6 | 6 | 25 |
| CIN | 0 | 14 | 0 | 6 | 20 |
The Bears manage to hold off the Bengals to keep their playoff hopes alive.
The Bengals, led by Joe Flacco, had a slow start to the game, but they managed to score two touchdowns near the end of the second quarter, giving them a 14-13 lead at halftime. The Bears came back in the third quarter with a touchdown pass from Caleb Williams to D.J. Moore, but a missed extra point left the score at 19-14.
The Bengals briefly regained the lead when Flacco threw a touchdown pass to Ja’Marr Chase, but Chase couldn’t complete the two-point conversion, leaving them with just a one-point advantage. The Bears then drove down the field twice for field goals, and Cairo Santos successfully made all four of his field goal attempts, securing their fifth win of the season.
Minnesota Vikings at Detroit Lions – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| MIN | 0 | 7 | 0 | 7 | 14 |
| DET | 21 | 10 | 7 | 0 | 38 |
The Detroit Lions sour J.J. McCarthy’s return as they defeat the Vikings with ease.
The Lions had a fantastic start to the game. After David Montgomery scored a 30-yard touchdown, Kirk Cousins threw an interception that Amik Robertson returned to the Minnesota 12-yard line. Two plays later, Jameson Williams caught a touchdown pass, putting the Lions up 14-0. Before the first quarter ended, Jahmyr Gibbs added another touchdown with a 52-yard run.
The Vikings scored their first points in the second quarter, but still trailed 24-7. A touchdown catch by Justin Jefferson was cancelled out when Amon-Ra St. Brown scored a touchdown of his own on an 18-yard play.
Gibbs’s second touchdown increased the Lions’ lead in the third quarter. While the Lions didn’t score in the fourth, the Vikings only managed one more touchdown, and much of the quarter was used up, helping the Lions maintain their lead.
Carolina Panthers at Green Bay Packers – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| CAR | 3 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 10 |
| GB | 7 | 0 | 10 | 10 | 27 |
The Green Bay Packers survive an ugly first half to come back and beat the Panthers.
The Green Bay Packers started strong with a successful drive led by Jordan Love, who completed all five of his passes, culminating in a touchdown by Josh Jacobs. However, that was their only touchdown until late in the third quarter. During that time, the Carolina Panthers, with Andy Dalton as quarterback, put up 10 points – including a rushing touchdown from Rico Dowdle – to take the lead.
Man, the game was really going back and forth! The Packers hit a field goal in the third to tie things up, and then Jordan Love found Tucker Kraft for a touchdown, putting us back in the lead. We didn’t stop there though – we kept the momentum going and scored another ten points straight, including an awesome touchdown catch by Christian Watson. It was such a great finish!
Los Angeles Chargers at Tennessee Titans – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| LAC | 3 | 3 | 3 | 14 | 23 |
| TEN | 0 | 0 | 0 | 3 | 3 |
The Los Angeles Chargers defeat the Titans in what was one of our strangest sims yet.
The Chargers’ offense struggled badly in the first half, managing to get within field goal range three times but only coming away with field goals each time. They finally started to click in the fourth quarter. After taking a 9-3 lead, Justin Herbert connected with Keenan Allen for a 38-yard touchdown, extending their lead to 16-3.
Cam Ward’s second interception led to another touchdown for Los Angeles, this time with Herbert connecting with Ladd McConkey. The Titans’ offense struggled all game and couldn’t manage to score even during the final minutes.
Atlanta Falcons at New England Patriots – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| ATL | 0 | 10 | 0 | 0 | 10 |
| NE | 7 | 10 | 10 | 7 | 34 |
Outside of a solid second quarter, Atlanta had no luck in overcoming the surging Patriots.
Man, Drake Maye is seriously looking good! He threw three touchdowns without a single pick in our win – it was awesome. Meanwhile, Penix Jr. had a rough game, only one TD but three interceptions. Honestly, Maye didn’t even need to throw for a ton of yards – just over 200 – because we kept getting amazing field position, making his job way easier.
Okay, so the Falcons actually had a good little drive right before halftime – Penix threw a touchdown pass to Bijan Robinson, which was awesome! It made the score 17-10, and for a second, I thought we might be able to get back in the game. But unfortunately, New England just took over after that, scoring 17 straight points and totally dominating us. It was really frustrating to watch.
San Francisco 49ers at New York Giants – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| SF | 7 | 10 | 0 | 10 | 27 |
| NYG | 0 | 7 | 3 | 3 | 13 |
The Giants kept it somewhat close, but the 49ers pulled away in the end to claim victory.
The Giants faced a tough game without key players Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo. Quarterback Jaxson Dart had a difficult day, with an interception and a completion rate of just 59%. However, he also threw a touchdown and guided the team on two other drives that resulted in points, keeping the Niners’ lead to a single score.
San Francisco’s offense was on fire, scoring three touchdowns and two field goals despite a slow third quarter. A 39-yard touchdown catch by Christian McCaffrey in the second quarter extended their lead to 17-0.
After falling behind, New York scored ten points in a row, but San Francisco answered with a field goal, bringing the score to 20-10. New York added another field goal, but Christian McCaffrey sealed the win for the Niners with a 22-yard touchdown run in the last three minutes of the game.
Indianapolis Colts at Pittsburgh Steelers – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| IND | 7 | 7 | 7 | 10 | 31 |
| PIT | 7 | 7 | 7 | 3 | 24 |
The Indianapolis Colts beat the Steelers an exciting offensive matchup.
Although the Steelers didn’t lead at any point in the game, they consistently prevented the Colts from building a comfortable two-possession advantage. Whenever Indianapolis scored, Pittsburgh immediately answered with a score of their own.
Indianapolis’ offense played well, with a strong running game that resulted in two touchdowns and 140 yards on 18 carries. Quarterback Daniel Jones also had a good game, throwing for 262 yards and two touchdowns.
The Steelers’ offense focused primarily on passing the ball. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers had a strong performance, completing 30 out of 43 passes for 352 yards and three touchdowns. A key play was his 81-yard touchdown pass to Calvin Austin III in the third quarter, which proved to be the team’s final touchdown of the game.
With just 2:31 remaining and the score tied 24-24, Jones threw a touchdown pass to Tyler Warren, putting the Colts ahead. Despite having enough time to respond, the Steelers couldn’t manage to tie things up, and the Colts secured the victory.
Denver Broncos at Houston Texans – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| DEN | 7 | 7 | 7 | 7 | 28 |
| HOU | 0 | 7 | 7 | 3 | 17 |
The Denver Broncos shut down the Texans’ comeback attempt as they stay atop the AFC West.
Denver started strong, quickly building a 14-0 lead and extending it to 21-7 early in the third quarter. Bo Nix had an excellent first three quarters, throwing for three touchdowns. However, the Texans fought back with two touchdowns of their own, keeping the game competitive.
With over eleven minutes left in the fourth quarter, the Texans couldn’t score a touchdown and had to kick a field goal instead. Still trailing 21-17, they needed a touchdown to take the lead and win.
The game was slow-paced until Denver’s running back, R.J. Harvey, scored a touchdown from 15 yards out, increasing their lead to 11 points. While Houston tried to fight back, driving all the way to Denver’s 10-yard line, the game effectively ended when Pat Surtain II intercepted a pass.
Jacksonville Jaguars at Las Vegas Raiders – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| JAX | 0 | 3 | 3 | 13 | 19 |
| LV | 0 | 6 | 7 | 3 | 16 |
The Jaguars narrowly defeated the Raiders, keeping their playoff hopes alive.
The first half consisted entirely of field goals, with Las Vegas adding one just before halftime. The first touchdown didn’t happen until late in the third quarter, when Ashton Jeanty ran for two yards to score.
The Jaguars, trailing 13-6, managed to tie the score when Travis Etienne ran for a two-yard touchdown. After that, both teams kicked a field goal, and the Jaguars regained possession with more than three minutes remaining in the game.
Jacksonville put together a strong drive, successfully converting three crucial third downs to reach the opponent’s red zone. They then expertly ran down the clock before Cam Little kicked a 34-yard field goal as time expired to win the game.
New Orleans Saints at Los Angeles Rams – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| NO | 3 | 7 | 3 | 0 | 13 |
| LAR | 10 | 14 | 3 | 3 | 30 |
The L.A. Rams dominate the Saints as they compete for the top spot in the NFC West.
The game started competitively, with New Orleans narrowing the score to 14-10 after a touchdown catch by Chris Olave. However, Los Angeles then pulled ahead, scoring 17 straight points. Matthew Stafford threw for two touchdowns during the Rams’ run, including a 35-yard connection with Davante Adams that extended their lead to 24-10.
Okay, so the Rams’ offense cooled down a bit after halftime, but honestly, their defense was a brick wall against the Saints. We really controlled the clock too, which made it super tough for New Orleans to get anything going. It felt like they barely had the ball!
Kansas City Chiefs at Buffalo Bills – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | OT | FINAL |
| KC | 7 | 3 | 3 | 17 | 6 | 36 |
| BUF | 10 | 10 | 7 | 3 | 0 | 30 |
The Kansas City Chiefs’ 4th quarter come back helps lift them past the Bills in Overtime.
Buffalo got off to a strong start, leading 27-10 early in the third quarter. Josh Allen played well, throwing three touchdown passes despite the loss. However, the Bills had trouble scoring touchdowns when they got close to the end zone, settling for three field goals on five trips inside the red zone.
The Kansas City offense had a slow start, managing only 13 points in the first three quarters. However, they turned things around quickly in the fourth quarter. Xavier Worthy started the quarter with a 46-yard touchdown catch, and after the opposing team failed to advance, Travis Kelce scored a 20-yard touchdown, tying the game at 27-27.
Man, it was a nail-biter! We actually took the lead with a field goal from Matt Prater with just a few minutes left, but that gave the Chiefs enough time to come back and tie it up with under a minute to go. We only had one timeout left, so we couldn’t finish them off right then and there. It was frustrating!
Kansas City scored a touchdown quickly after the Bills were forced to punt. Rashee Rice caught a five-yard pass for the score with 5:22 remaining, giving the Bills another overtime loss under quarterback Josh Allen.
Seattle Seahawks at Washington Commanders – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| SEA | 7 | 3 | 7 | 7 | 24 |
| WAS | 0 | 0 | 7 | 7 | 14 |
The Seattle Seahawks extend their win streak to three as they win in their return from the bye.
Seattle’s defense had a strong performance against Marcus Mariota, the opposing team’s backup quarterback, who had a difficult game. He threw two interceptions, and Drake Thomas returned one of them for a touchdown in the third quarter.
Washington didn’t score until late in the third quarter, when Mariota connected with Terry McLaurin for a touchdown. However, Seattle quickly increased their lead to 24-7 with a touchdown pass from Darnold to Cooper Kupp, effectively securing their victory.
Washington managed to score once more in garbage time, but their season looks darker by the day.
Arizona Cardinals at Dallas Cowboys – NFL Week 9 Predictions According to Madden 26
| TEAM | 1st Quarter | 2nd Quarter | 3rd Quarter | 4th Quarter | FINAL |
| ARI | 7 | 14 | 7 | 7 | 35 |
| DAL | 7 | 10 | 14 | 10 | 41 |
The Cardinals and Cowboys played a high-scoring game, but Dallas ultimately won, keeping their hopes for the season going.
The Cowboys’ offense is performing strongly, but their defense is struggling. They gave up 31 points to the Cardinals, with 21 of those coming in the first half. Kyler Murray had a good game returning to the field, passing for 287 yards and three touchdowns, and also rushing for 33 yards.
Dallas’ offense played well enough to stay in the game, and ultimately gave them the lead in the third quarter. CeeDee Lamb had a great performance, with 10 catches for 157 yards and two touchdowns. They finished the third quarter ahead 31-28.
The Cowboys extended their lead when Javonte Williams ran for a 19-yard touchdown. However, Marvin Harrison Jr. quickly answered with a 25-yard touchdown catch of his own, bringing the score to 38-35.
Dallas needed to use up over seven minutes of game time to secure a win. They reduced that target to just over four minutes with a final field goal drive, but this left Arizona with enough time to score a touchdown and potentially tie or win the game.
The Cardinals, led by Murray, advanced the ball to the Cowboys’ 32-yard line. However, on a crucial fourth down play, Trey McBride couldn’t hold onto a pass, giving the Cowboys possession. They then ran out the clock to secure the win.
That concludes our look at the Week 9 NFL results as predicted by Madden 26. We hope you enjoyed the predictions, and we’re excited to see how accurate the game turns out to be! No matter what happens, it’s always fun to see what surprising outcomes Madden forecasts.
