Epic Universe has quickly become a world-class theme park, despite only being open for a few months and recently experiencing a difficult event. I had the chance to visit before its official opening and have been eager to return. It looks like I might get another opportunity to do so soon.
Ever since Epic Universe opened, it’s been incredibly popular, so Universal Orlando Resort has limited how people could visit with regular tickets. Before, a multi-day ticket only allowed access to Epic Universe on one of those days. But starting next year, that’s going to change significantly.
Universal Orlando Tickets In 2026 Will Offer More Time At Epic Universe
Okay, so Universal Orlando just dropped details on their 2026 ticket packages, and honestly, this is a big win for park-goers. The key difference? More time in the highly anticipated Epic Universe. Previously, even with multi-day tickets, you were limited to just one day in the new park. But starting next year, these new packages let you dedicate your entire trip to Epic Universe if you want, or freely hop between all the parks. As a critic, I think that flexibility is exactly what guests have been asking for, and it makes these tickets a much more appealing option.
3-day tickets to Universal Orlando Resort start at $118 for adults and allow access to one of the three theme parks – Universal Studios Florida, Universal’s Islands of Adventure, or Universal Epic Universe – each day. For $138 per day, you can visit multiple parks on the same day. Tickets for four or five days include the ability to hop between parks and cost $111 or $93 per day, respectively.
Visiting Universal Orlando Resort is about to get even better! Universal Studios Florida and Islands of Adventure are fantastic parks with top-notch restaurants and thrilling rides. But for guests who have experienced them before, the new Epic Universe park will offer an exciting way to spend more time enjoying everything Universal has to offer.
Universal Orlando Annual Pass Holders Are Still Being Left Out
One remaining question about getting into Epic Universe is how it will work with Universal Orlando Annual Passes. Right now, those passes only cover the original two parks. Passholders will be able to buy discounted tickets for the new park, but won’t have direct access with their existing passes, and this is expected to stay true through 2026.
Eventually, Epic Universe will likely be included with the Universal Orlando Annual Pass, but it will almost certainly cost more.
