Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Adds Lunch and Dinner Menu Options

Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery, located in the Africa area of Disney’s Animal Kingdom, now serves lunch and dinner alongside its usual breakfast and snacks. It’s often called simply “Kusafiri.”

New Menu Options

Kusafiri, previously known for its coffee, pastries, and quick snacks, started serving lunch on October 11, 2025. Lunch entrees are priced between $10.99 and $11.79.

Kusafiri is now offering more dishes with regional spice blends and plant-based ingredients. For example, their “Impossible Gatsby” features a plant-based meat alternative seasoned with North African flavors, along with sweet tomato-pepper relish and crispy potato sticks. It’s a quicker, smaller take on the classic Gatsby sandwich, with similar flavors.

The Harissa Chicken Wrap features a cool chicken salad made with mayonnaise and a touch of harissa spice. Harissa is a North African paste known for its blend of chilies, garlic, and olive oil. This wrap has a mild level of spice and is also filled with creamy avocado spread and shredded vegetables.

I’ve noticed they’ve added these warm flatbreads, and they’re great if you want something extra with your meal, especially if you’re looking for a bit more protein. They really round things out!

Our Marinated Pork Flatbread features soft, flavorful pork served on warm flatbread. It’s topped with a refreshing cucumber-tomato salad, crisp greens, and a touch of smoky, mildly spicy harissa aioli. We also include a side of our delicious homemade potato chips.

Kusafiri now offers the popular “Chicken and Rice Bowl” originally found at the Harambe Market. It features chicken marinated in Chermoula spices, served over flavorful jollof rice, and comes with a fresh kachumbari tomato salad and cool tzatziki sauce.

Kusafiri offers more than just coffee and pastries – you can also enjoy a variety of beers and a special African Coffee drink made with Amarula cream liqueur.

I’ve noticed Disney World is really stepping up its food game! It seems like they’re making a big push to offer more complete meals all around the parks, and this menu expansion is definitely a sign of that. It’s great to see them thinking about guests who want a proper sit-down meal beyond just snacks.

Things to Consider When Planning

Kusafiri is a small kiosk located near the entrance to the Kilimanjaro Safaris ride in the Africa section of the park, within Harambe Village. It used to be mainly a place to grab a quick coffee or snack with limited seating, and it shares seating with the nearby Tamu Tamu Refreshments stand.

We’re currently open from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If you’re looking for a late-night meal, you’ll need to check out another spot.

Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery now offers lunch in addition to breakfast, but what’s available can vary. It’s best to call ahead to see what they have on the menu that day.
