A renowned YouTube personality from South Korea, known for their online videos, was discovered deceased recently, only a few days following a live stream where they openly discussed their health troubles.
On the 6th of September in Seoul, Na Dong-hyun – more commonly known as Dae Library online – was found at home. His friends alerted authorities when he missed a planned gathering and couldn’t be reached. He is 46 years old.
As reported by Chosun, authorities discovered that he had passed away at his residence. The authorities have stated that there was no evidence suggesting suspicious circumstances or a suicide letter. Currently, they are examining whether his death might have been due to a preexisting health condition.

Dae Library’s last broadcast raised concerns
As a dedicated fan, I noticed that during his last live streams, Dae Library often mentioned experiencing intense chest pains and overwhelming fatigue. At one point, he shared with us his personal struggle, expressing, “I’m feeling a sharp pain in my heart.
He openly stated in a previous comment that he had been managing with just three hours of rest, as he was participating in Seoul Fashion Week. Afterward, he continued broadcasting for over five hours.
The unexpected passing away of him has left his fans in shock, as numerous individuals commented on his obvious signs of fatigue over the last few weeks.
Since starting his YouTube channel in 2010, Dae Library has become one of Korea’s most prominent content creators, accumulating over 1.4 million subscribers. He offers a diverse range of content, including commentary, live streams, and gaming broadcasts presented in a variety format.
2015 saw him tying the knot with fellow influencer Yumdeng. They stayed together for a span of eight years until parting ways and getting divorced in 2023.
Following Dae’s passing, there has been a series of notable deaths within the creative community. Earlier this year, the popular Los Angeles YouTube personality known as P2istheName unfortunately succumbed to sudden heart failure.
Lately, French Twitch streamer Jean Pormanove tragically passed away at the age of 46, after a string of contentious live streams that sparked accusations from fellow creators about him being exploited for entertainment purposes.
