I honestly hadn’t noticed this until recently, but it’s been getting a lot of views on streaming sites like Twitch and YouTube in the past day. From what I can gather, people think the game is looking really good.
There is a catch, however, and I’m sure it’ll be enough to put some of you off entirely.
Mistfall Hunter is a unique gothic action RPG where getting powerful items involves risk. You’ll battle both monsters and other players to secure your loot, making every win hard-earned.
You can play with friends as a team, or play by yourself – either way works! The game also lets players on different platforms play together.
It felt inevitable that a game would eventually blend the challenging combat of Soulslike games with the tension of extraction shooters. The complete game is scheduled to release next month, on July 30th.
If this seems interesting to you, you can download the beta version directly from the PlayStation Store. It’s a relatively small download at just under 36GB on PS5.
