PC saves man’s life by deflecting a bullet while he sleeps

A man is alive today thanks to his computer. A bullet fired accidentally by a neighbor while the man was sleeping ricocheted off the PC, saving him from injury.

A Reddit user named ‘angelbabyzz’ shared a surprising story about being woken up in the middle of the night by a loud crash and the sensation of something landing on his face. Almost immediately, his neighbor arrived, visibly upset and worried she had accidentally injured him.

She stated that her dog somehow caused her gun to fire, sending a bullet through the wall and into the bedroom.

Fortunately, the bullet hit the owner’s gaming PC instead of him while he was sleeping, saving him from harm.

According to a social media post, the owner believes their computer saved their life. They claim a bullet went through the computer, changing its path and preventing it from hitting them while they slept. The post includes pictures of the computer with a bullet hole and the bullet itself.

Thankfully, no one was hurt. The only damage was to the police car and the time it took – three days – to clear away all the broken glass.

Naturally, people on Reddit were curious about the neighbor and what exactly happened, so the original poster added some updates to explain the situation.

He said they’ve started an insurance claim, but their neighbor has generously offered to replace the computer even if the insurance doesn’t cover it. Although he’s a little skeptical of her story, he doesn’t believe she meant to cause any harm.

They weren’t certain about the details involving the dog, but it was obvious from her reaction that it was a mistake. She was deeply upset, barely able to speak through her tears, and was visibly shaking while repeatedly apologizing.

In the end, the original poster feels the neighbor is facing fair consequences. This is due to the legal charges, the loss of her gun, the cost of repairs, and her repeated apologies.

Technology has come to the rescue before, and recently, a man was actually saved from a dog attack when his phone unexpectedly exploded.
