The Arcade Crew and Runes Studio have revealed Wardens of Avalon, an action role-playing game set in a dark and gritty medieval world inspired by Arthurian legends. The game is planned for release on PC (via Steam) in 2027.

Wardens of Avalon is an action game you can play alone or with friends. It combines fast-paced combat with building and surviving in a challenging world, all viewed from an overhead perspective.

The Arcade Crew and Runes Studio announced today that their new action RPG, Wardens of Avalon, will be released on PC next year. Set in a dark medieval world inspired by Arthurian legends, the game puts you in the role of a Twilight Knight tasked with rebuilding the fallen Kingdom of Avalon. You can play the entire campaign solo or with friends in co-op mode. Players can sign up on Steam for a chance to try the game early in a playtest later this month.

Wardens of Avalon combines classic survival and crafting with building your own base, all while engaging in fast-paced combat. Prepare to face incredibly challenging bosses that will push your skills to the limit.

Whether you team up with other knights or brave the journey solo, you’ll explore the island of Avalon, facing tough, carefully designed dungeons and epic battles against powerful bosses who will try to stop you. Each area has its own unique obstacles, creatures, and items to find. But beware – the corrupted Knights of the Round Table will try to stop you, so you must defend your kingdom and strive for salvation.
