The recent Nintendo Direct in June was packed with exciting announcements! Fans can look forward to a new One Piece game, a trailer for the highly anticipated Kingdom Hearts 4, and—as the biggest surprise—a complete remake of The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. This classic Link and Zelda adventure is coming to the Switch 2, and it’s expected to feature improved graphics and gameplay.

The announcement of the new game has excited fans, and those wanting the Lego Great Deku Tree set should act quickly. It’s being retired soon, and people are buying it up fast!

The Lego Great Deku Tree is selling out everywhere

The Great Deku Tree building set is a fantastic 2,500-piece model that costs $299.99. It lets you create two different versions of the Deku Tree – one inspired by Breath of the Wild and another by Ocarina of Time. With the recent news, many fans will likely choose to build the Ocarina of Time version.

However, it’s being retired at the end of July, so these sets are about to become even harder to get hold of. In fact, they’re currently so popular that some are reporting the sets as sold out on Amazon, Lego, Walmart, and more. At the time of writing, in the US, the set is sold out on the Lego store, though it is available in the UK.

Even the Lego store themselves have implemented a three-set limit for the Great Deku Tree, which isn’t uncommon for popular products.

Of course, whether this is due to the remake announcement or just because it’s a stellar set that’s leaving soon and will therefore likely get more expensive on resale sites is unconfirmed.
