Transformers Iron Factory Legends Scale Samurai Motormaster

Originally, most of the Decepticons preferred to battle in the air. Only a small number focused on ground combat, and the Stunticons were the most prominent of these. Their leader, who transforms into a vehicle, is now getting a powerful new upgrade.

Iron Factory has unveiled the first pictures of their IF EX-80 Bousobancho figure, a samurai-themed take on the Decepticon Motormaster. This figure transforms between a robot and a truck, both redesigned with elements of Japan’s Edo period. Importantly, it still combines with other figures! Although the other members of the Stunticons are still in early stages of development, Iron Factory has also given fans a sneak peek at their combined form, Menasor.

Motormaster Meets Demon Slayer in Feudal Japan Transformers Figure

The Iron Samurai Series IF EX-80 Bousobancho figure is modeled after Motormaster, the leader of the Stunticons from the original Transformers generation. The Stunticons are Decepticons known for transforming into powerful stunt vehicles, preferring direct confrontation over flying or using gadgets. Like his original design, Motormaster turns into a semi-truck with a trailer, giving him a similar appearance to his classic form.

But this one’s really special! Instead of just transforming into the truck, the entire cab becomes Motormaster’s robot mode – it’s a much closer transformation than you might expect. And wow, this guy is loaded with points of articulation, meaning he’s super posable and ready to take on any Autobot who crosses his path with some seriously cool, ancient martial arts moves! He even comes with a kendo sword, which is a fantastic touch and really leans into the historical theme, but honestly, that’s just the beginning of everything this amazing figure has to offer!

Motormaster can transform into a decorated Japanese-style truck, blending traditional and modern designs. This includes a trailer that can hold a large samurai sword. When combined with Motormaster’s truck cab, the trailer forms the main body of the powerful Mensaor, who has a distinctly samurai appearance. The other Stunticons then join as limbs, giving him the strength to wield his sword and battle enemy Autobot Combiners.

The toy is currently priced at $68.99. We’re not sure when the rest of the team will be ready, so completing the full set of samurai Stunticons may take some time.
