YouTuber Look Mum No Computer scores just one point at Eurovision and finishes last

Look Mum No Computer, a popular YouTuber, came in last place at Eurovision 2026. The UK received only one point from all the voters in the final round.

The UK’s entry at Eurovision was musician and YouTuber Sam Battle, age 37, who performs as Look Mum No Computer. He’s famous for creating unusual electronic instruments by hand. His song, “Eins, Zwei, Drei,” delivered a lively and energetic electro-punk performance on stage in Vienna, Austria.

Battle’s performance really emphasized his image as a creator of electronic music. It began with a setup resembling an office, featuring dancers with computer screens as heads, and then transformed into a high-energy, workshop-themed party while Battle played, dressed in his signature jumpsuit.

Unfortunately, the UK’s strategy didn’t translate into success at the competition. They finished last in the Grand Final, receiving a single point from the jury vote and no votes from the public. Ukraine provided that one point, preventing a complete shutout.

Despite the surprising outcome, Battle remained positive, celebrating Bulgaria’s historic first victory at Eurovision thanks to DARA and her song, “Bangaranga.”

After the competition, Battle congratulated Bulgaria on their win, calling them the “deserved winner.” He also shared that he enjoyed meeting many wonderful people throughout the contest.

He emphasized that the effort itself was what mattered most, writing, “No matter the challenges, we have to keep giving it our all, no matter the result.”

He also posted a video of himself and his fans cheering “UK” and “ein Punkt,” which is German for “one point.”

The UK continues to struggle in the Eurovision public vote, with this year’s result marking the third consecutive year a UK performer received no points from the public. Both Remember Monday in 2025 and Olly Alexander in 2024 also failed to score any public votes.

Before the finale, the performance had received mixed reactions from the audience. Battle had already admitted that the song “Eins, Zwei, Drei” wasn’t everyone’s favorite.

Okay, so this act was really different. They went with this whole ‘office worker’ theme, had these guys yelling back and forth in German, and used a bunch of homemade synths – it was definitely unique! But honestly, it just didn’t really click with most of the Eurovision viewers. It was interesting, but it didn’t quite grab everyone, you know?

Bulgaria took first place at the 2026 competition with a score of 516 points, followed closely by Israel with 343 points. The final event, featuring 25 participating nations, was held at the Wiener Stadthalle in Vienna.
