Fans of Pokémon in South Korea can now buy special Pokémon-themed toilet paper! It’s a new partnership between the Pokémon company and Renova, a tissue brand.
A new line of Renova toilet paper, called the “Pokemon Edition,” recently became available through a crowdfunding campaign on the Korean platform Wadiz. Each roll features unique Pokemon designs on its packaging. The campaign claims this is the first-ever Pokemon-themed collection from Renova.
This Pokemon-themed collection features toilet paper decorated with 79 different monster designs, plus colorful pocket tissues. The characters and packaging are randomly selected, meaning you won’t be able to choose which Pokemon you get. Renova, the company behind the products, says this randomness is meant to make everyday tissues more fun and collectible.
Okay, so this game’s crowdfunding campaign on Wadiz totally blew up! It didn’t just reach its goal, it smashed past it – like, over 14,000% funded! I’ve been checking the project page and the updates are insane – everyone’s clearly super excited about it.
Pokemon toilet paper becomes latest collab item
Okay, so I was checking out this campaign, and they’ve got a ton of Pokemon stuff! Seriously, everything from toilet paper and pocket tissues to full-on tissue boxes and napkins, all covered in cool Pokemon art and really bright colors. It’s a Pokemon fan’s bathroom essential kit, basically!
The Portuguese tissue company also explained that the project aimed to make everyday paper products more collectible and engaging for customers.
The campaign started on April 23rd, and items began shipping to customers in Korea after May 4th. The money raised will be used to cover production, packaging, shipping, and to develop more characters for this collaboration.
Lately, Pokémon has partnered with a lot of surprising brands. You can find Pokémon designs on everything from everyday items like Oreo cookies and instant noodles to things like Crocs, jewelry, and even promotional deals at fast food restaurants.
