The popular game Wuthering Waves is teaming up with the anime Cyberpunk: Edgerunners in June, and players will receive the 5-Star character Rebecca as a free reward!
We knew over a year ago that characters from the popular anime series, created in collaboration with CD Projekt RED, would be coming to this game, but now we’re finally seeing Lucy and Rebecca as they’ll appear in it.
Okay, the new trailer for Solaris just dropped, and honestly, it’s giving me chills! The voiceover says, ‘Come, wander with me through the ever-unceasing dream,’ and it’s shown while we see the new characters arriving on the station. It’s so atmospheric and really hints at the mind-bending stuff to come – I’m already hooked!
Wuthering Waves features stunning character designs that really capture the look and feel of anime. We’re eager to see how these characters perform in battle, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer for gameplay footage.
Rebecca will be available without any requirements, but you’ll need to obtain Lucy through in-game pulls. Luckily, there’s a big anniversary event happening now with lots of free pulls, so if you’re interested in getting ready for the new content coming in June, it’s a good time to download the game and start playing.
Besides the characters you can play as, the update will likely include missions and events inspired by the world of Cyberpunk. The trailer shows David Martinez, and although you won’t be able to play as him, he’ll make an appearance in the game.
