A highly detailed Severus Snape collectible figure costs more than $2,000, and with only 150 available globally, it’s one of the most hard-to-find Harry Potter items you can buy.
Severus Snape is a beloved character in the Harry Potter series. Many fans connect with his sad past and his deep, unrequited love for Lily Potter.
If you’re a big fan and have a few thousand dollars to spend, you could actually own a replica of Snape and bring a piece of Hogwarts magic into your home – and that’s perfectly okay with us!
Bring Hogwarts to your home
This figure is modeled after Alan Rickman’s performance as Severus Snape. It captures his characteristic serious expression, long black hair, and dark robes, and includes a wand.
The statue is 55cm tall (about 21 inches or 1.8 feet). To give you a sense of its size, it’s around the height of a typical computer tower, or half as tall as the house-elf Dobby.
The plastic statue weighs 5.5kg (about 12 pounds), making it as heavy as a bowling ball. It’s quite heavy, so you wouldn’t want to carry it around for very long. Maybe there’s a spell to help with that!
The statue costs $2,089.00, which is a significant investment! It’s a limited edition piece, with only 150 available worldwide, so you might need to start saving up to get one.
Severus Snape isn’t the only impressive statue revealed this year. Prime 1 Studio also announced a full-size, over $7,000 figure of Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell back in April.
