The highly popular series is coming back for a third season, and it looks like fans won’t have to wait too long to see it.
As a huge fan of My Adventures With Superman, I was thrilled to hear Jack Quaid himself confirm that Season 3 is definitely happening! He let it slip that it’s on its way, and acknowledged how patiently fans have been waiting – which, honestly, is an understatement! It’s such a relief to know we’ll be getting more of this amazing show.
Josh Quaid mentioned he’s still working on voice recordings for Season 3 of My Adventures With Superman, and hasn’t seen much of it yet. He described the new season as their funniest one so far, but also said it has some very high stakes. He’s looking forward to fans seeing it.
What Is My Adventures With Superman All About?
Premiering on Adult Swim in 2023, My Adventures With Superman was created for television by Jake Wyatt, Brendan Clogher, and Josie Campbell. The show quickly became popular with both viewers and critics. It features the voices of Quaid as Clark Kent/Superman and Ishmel Sahid as Jimmy Olsen.
Since it first aired, My Adventures With Superman has received widespread praise. Both Season 1 and Season 2 have a perfect 100% “Fresh” rating on Rotten Tomatoes, which aggregates reviews from critics. Viewers seem to enjoy it too, giving the series an overall audience score of 80% on Rotten Tomatoes, based on over 600 reviews.
Although a release date hasn’t been announced, fans are anticipating great things for the upcoming season. Actor J. Quaid has even hinted that Season 3 might be his favorite yet, describing some of the episodes as exciting and self-contained stories.
What’s Next for Superman on the Silver Screen?
David Corenswet, who played Superman in the 2025 film Superman, will make at least one appearance in a movie this year, with the film expected to be released on June 26th. While his role in Supergirl will likely be brief, this doesn’t rule out future plans for his portrayal of the Man of Steel. Meanwhile, Nicholas Cage is preparing to return as Superman on television.
As a huge DC fan, I’ve been following the buzz around Superman ever since the 2025 release. James Gunn recently addressed what the sequel is being called, and it’s interesting! He said it’s currently just “Man of Steel,” and he’s really tired of the whole “Superhero Title: Subtitle” naming convention we’ve seen so much. He’s even been changing project titles to avoid that format!
My Adventures With Superman is currently available for streaming on HBO Max.
