Natasha Lyonne has denied reports that she was removed from a Delta flight shortly after attending the premiere of Euphoria Season 3 this week.
Lady Gaga is joining the cast of the latest season of the HBO show created by Sam Levinson. She made her first public appearance for the show at the Los Angeles premiere on Tuesday, April 7th, though details about her role are currently being kept secret.
Lyonne was on a late-night flight from Los Angeles to New York when the reported incident occurred. According to an anonymous witness who spoke with Page Six, flight attendants asked her to put away her laptop and buckle her seatbelt while she was in First Class.
Reports said Lyonne seemed unwell and unresponsive. Flight staff tried to check on her, and she was helped off the plane when it returned to the gate. Now, Lyonne has publicly addressed the situation herself.
Natasha Lyonne responds to flight incident claims
On Thursday, April 9th, Natasha Lyonne shared a message on X expressing her support for TSA agents who aren’t getting paid. She also mentioned she was disappointed to have to cancel a planned honest conversation with Drew Barrymore.
I’m thinking of the TSA workers who aren’t getting paid right now. I was excited to be on the Drew Barrymore show yesterday, but it didn’t happen. Also, does anyone know who currently owns Page Six and the New York Post?

She asked, “Just to clarify, who currently owns Page Six and the New York Post?” For those who don’t know, both are owned by News Corp, the media company run by Rupert Murdoch and his family.
Instead of directly rejecting the claims, Lyonne seems to be challenging where the information came from and how the story is being told.
The star of Euphoria Season 3 was scheduled to be on The Drew Barrymore Show in New York on Wednesday, but she didn’t make it because she missed her flight.
What the allegations say
According to Page Six, flight attendants had to repeatedly ask Lyonne to comply with their instructions, and she seemed to fall asleep several times while wearing sunglasses.
The news source reports that flight crew took the laptop from the passenger as the plane started taxiing, but the aircraft had to return to the gate.
A Delta employee came onto the plane and reportedly asked Lyonne if she needed medical help. They then asked her to deplane and offered to carry her belongings.
An eyewitness reported hearing Lyonne ask, “Where are we?” Someone then responded, “We’re still in Los Angeles. The plane hasn’t taken off… it won’t leave until you get off.”
According to the report, Lyonne quickly told a gate agent to be quiet during the conversation. She then got up, used the restroom, and left the plane without any further issues, after her bags had already been taken off.
After a one-hour delay, the captain announced that a passenger wasn’t feeling well enough to fly, so they had been rebooked on a different flight. He apologized for the trouble and assured everyone they would get to New York as quickly and safely as possible.
Lyonne hasn’t commented directly on the details reported by Page Six, only responding with a post on X (formerly Twitter) that has since gotten a lot of attention from her fans.
One person asked if I was okay, reacting with shock to something they’d seen earlier and questioning if someone was trying to cause trouble. Another expressed concern about how they would manage without attending an interview, emphasizing how much they admire Drew Barrymore.
Someone else commented that airlines are strict but ultimately fair, saying you’ll likely be rebooked rather than permanently barred, and that the situation will eventually be resolved.
