We’re excited to announce the results of our 17th annual poll! This year, you voted for your favorite live-action TV series from DC and Marvel – no animated shows were considered.
It’s been two years since I last used live-action TV shows as the basis for this tournament, and the number of new DC and Marvel series released since then has been amazing. In fact, so many shows came out that we couldn’t include them all!
I used a combination of IMDb user ratings and how well shows performed in my previous tournaments to choose the selections.
I’ll reveal the overall winner, but first, I’ll detail how each region went!
HELL’S KITCHEN REGION
First Round

Okay, so my latest poll was intense. She-Hulk just barely beat out Smallville! It was so close, actually, that after the time was up, Smallville briefly got more votes, but I couldn’t count those because they came in late. Seriously, Facebook made it impossible to set a real deadline for the poll – it was a bit of a headache!

The series Daredevil: Born Again, ranked #2, beat out Jessica Jones (#3). Interestingly, Jessica Jones is also part of the Daredevil: Born Again cast, so it’s a win for her too!

#2 seeded Daredevil: Born Again defeated #8 Arrow, ending its Cinderella journey
NEW YORK REGION
First Round
#1 seeded The Punisher beat #16 Superboy
#8 seeded The Flash (2014) beat #9 Luke Cage
#5 seeded Agent Carter beat #12 The Gifted
#4 seeded Adventures of Superman beat #13 Krypton
In a surprising turn of events, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow (the 11th seed) defeated Constantine (the 6th seed). Interestingly, Constantine was once part of the Legends of Tomorrow cast, meaning he ultimately comes out on top regardless of the outcome!
