The first full-length trailer for The Punisher: One Last Kill has been released.
As a huge Marvel fan, I’m really excited to hear that “The Punisher: One Last Kill” is hitting Disney+ next month! It’s a special directed by Reinaldo Marcus Green, and even better, Jon Bernthal is coming back to play Frank Castle – The Punisher – again. I loved his portrayal of the character, so this is fantastic news!

What happens in The Punisher: One Last Kill trailer?
The trailer for The Punisher: One Last Kill shows Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) grappling with past choices and the grief of losing his family. This struggle pushes him into a dark place, but he seems to embark on a journey to find peace. The trailer features glimpses of Frank seemingly experiencing visions of his past self and loved ones, alongside the show’s signature action and chaos.
Details about the upcoming comic, The Punisher: One Last Kill, are still scarce. However, it’s known that the story was co-written by both Jason Aaron and Jon Bernthal.
Jon Bernthal first played the Punisher in the Netflix series Daredevil, and has been a recurring character ever since. He also starred in his own two-season show, The Punisher. However, he won’t be appearing in the upcoming Daredevil: Born Again season. This is partly due to the recent conclusion of his Punisher storyline, and also because he’s slated to appear in Spider-Man 4, currently known as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, which is scheduled for release in July. The extent of his role in the Spider-Man movie is still unknown.
On May 12, 2026, Disney+ will release a special presentation from Marvel Television called “The Punisher: One Last Kill.” It will begin streaming at 6 p.m. Pacific Time / 9 p.m. Eastern Time.
