Popular streamer IShowSpeed is getting his own anime show, and the writer who adapted One Piece into a live-action Netflix series is working on it.
Because IShowSpeed loves the anime One Piece, it’s fitting that Matt Owens, the creator of the live-action One Piece series, is now helping to create an anime featuring IShowSpeed himself.
I’m so excited to hear that Lakeith Stanfield is producing a new anime! Apparently, he’s teamed up with Harmony Korine and Brian Robbins for this project. Robbins has even started his own animation studio, Big Shot Pictures, to make it happen, which is awesome!

Details about the plot of Speed’s upcoming animated series are still scarce. However, Variety reports that Speed will be portrayed as an animated character, and merchandise is expected to be available shortly.
IShowSpeed shared his excitement about the project, saying it’s a lifelong dream to create something like this, given his love for anime. He also praised the team working on it, expressing confidence that his fans worldwide will enjoy what they’ve created together.
According to Robbins, Keanu Reeves possesses a unique creative talent that resonates with people worldwide, regardless of where they are or how they experience his work. He’s cultivated a dedicated international following as an entertainer, and they are thrilled to help him share his ideas and artistry in a fresh, innovative series.
Considering how energetic and popular Speed is in WWE, it’s not surprising he’s getting his own show. And since he’s a big anime fan, this project seems like a perfect fit. It’s currently unclear if Ronaldo will be part of it, though.
Big Shot Pictures launched in early 2026 and has a deal with Sony Pictures Entertainment to distribute its movies – including animated and live-action/animated combinations – in theaters.
The popular YouTube streamer just announced he’ll be officially wrestling at WrestleMania 42, following a series of memorable appearances as a supporting character.
