Cyberpunk 2077, Far Cry Collide In Explosive New Open-World FPS

I often lose track of time looking for games on Steam. While I usually end up with more games than I can play right away, every now and then I discover something I know I’ll love instantly.

Hey, I just added this open-world FPS to my Steam wishlist – it’s heading into Early Access soon. Honestly, it sounds really ambitious, and I’m hoping it’ll be the next game my friends and I get totally hooked on.

You Need Phantom Line On Your Radar

It Could End Up Delivering

In Phantom Line, you are an Operator in a special forces team tasked with dealing with strange occurrences, similar to the cases seen in The X-Files. You’ll accomplish this using a unique technology called HUSK, which allows you to transfer your mind into different robotic bodies, adding a strategic layer to the traditional shooting gameplay.

So, in this game, you can build up your base, create new items, and go after enemies – it’s a lot to manage, honestly! I’m really excited, but we’ll have to wait until it’s in Early Access to see if it all comes together and works well.

PHANTOM LINE is a cooperative shooter for 1-4 players, set in a post-apocalyptic Europe. You play as a paranormal response team, investigating and containing strange, hidden events on a large, dynamic open-world map.

One of the most exciting features is the ability to play with up to four players in co-op, letting you team up and battle supernatural foes. While there’s no firm release date yet, the game is expected to launch soon in Early Access on Steam, developed by Antistatic Studios Inc.

The team began beta testing last year, suggesting a release is coming soon. They distributed over 10,000 beta keys, allowing for extensive testing with a large group of players.

There’s Some Crossover There

This game has the potential to be a huge hit for fans of open-world sci-fi titles like Cyberpunk, Fallout, and Far Cry. Open-world games can sometimes feel overwhelming, but having a team with you encourages exploration and helps you share exciting discoveries with others.

Limiting the game to one to four players helps keep it focused and prevents it from becoming overly complicated and failing. It’s a challenging type of game to make well, but early signs suggest it could become a favorite for cooperative game nights.

It’s still too early to say if Phantom Line will be a success when it’s released in Early Access on Steam, but initial impressions are good. We’ll get a clearer picture of whether the game can live up to its potential once more people get a chance to play it.
