A new version will be available on April 17, 2026, but unfortunately, it will initially only be released in certain regions, meaning fans in North America may not be able to get it right away.
In 2025, a new Hyrule Warriors game, Age of Imprisonment, was released, exploring Zelda’s earlier adventures after the events of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. However, there haven’t been any announcements about a completely new Legend of Zelda game yet.
The Legend of Zelda UNO Is Coming, But It’s Exclusive to Europe
Fans eager to experience the world of Hyrule have a new way to do so! The Legend of Zelda UNO deck will be available in Europe on April 17, 2026. You can pre-order it now on various online retailers, but be sure to act fast to get your copy.
The Legend of Zelda UNO card game includes 112 cards and can be played with 2 to 10 people. It’s designed for fans of The Legend of Zelda who will enjoy the game’s art.
This Zeldathemed game is a fun little addition for existing fans, but it’s unlikely to hold over players who are really hoping for a brand new Zelda title. Luckily, it looks like Nintendo has some exciting plans coming up, and The Legend of Zelda UNO* is just one of several big releases expected in 2026.
American Zelda Fans Will Have to Look Elsewhere for UNO
Currently, The Legend of Zelda UNO is only officially available in Europe. While fans outside of Europe can still get it by having it shipped to them, it will likely be more expensive because of the increased shipping costs and longer delivery times.
Luckily, The Legend of Zelda UNO has been released a few times before, meaning people might be able to find copies for sale used. Hopefully, they can find ones that are still sealed, because UNO games can get pretty intense – especially when people are competitive – and the cards often get damaged during heated moments or when someone feels betrayed.
We haven’t heard any official announcements about new Legend of Zelda games, though some rumors suggest one is in development. If those rumors aren’t true, fans will have to make do with The Legend of Zelda UNO for now.
In 2026, The Legend of Zelda franchise will turn 40, and Nintendo is planning a big celebration. Expect to see new games and merchandise as they commemorate this milestone anniversary.
