McDonald’s launches “Pro Gamer Menu” with gadget to stop you going AFK in-game

McDonald’s is testing a special “pro gamer menu” in one location that includes a device designed to prevent players from stepping away from their games. However, it’s available in very limited quantities.

McDonald’s often collaborates with popular trends, and they’ve frequently partnered with the gaming world too. This goes way back – as early as the original PlayStation, they included game demos with some meals.

More recently, the company has expanded its reach by sponsoring popular Twitch streamers such as OfflineTV, partnering with gaming organization Faze Clan, and even offering limited-edition Street Fighter and Dragon Quest themed meals in Japan.

So, there’s this new device called the Archie – it’s supposed to keep me from accidentally going AFK during games, and it looks like it’s going to be available in Türkiye. Pretty cool if you ask me!

McDonald’s Pro Gamer Menu & Archie only available in Türkiye

McDonald’s Turkey has introduced a new ‘Pro Gamer Menu,’ and every order includes a small Archie toy.

The Archie is a copy of the famous McDonald’s golden arches, cleverly designed to fit between your controller sticks so you can snack without pausing your game.

You can get it by ordering the Pro Gamer Menu on McDelivery in Turkey. The menu includes a Big Mac, medium fries, a medium Coke, and 8-piece onion rings.

According to McDonald’s Türkiye’s CMO, Özdeş Dönen Artak, players often find ways to work around the need to look at the screen during intense online gameplay because briefly looking away can interrupt their focus and performance.

This item is limited in quantity, so if you’re hoping to buy it with a flight, you’ll need to hurry.

Even if you can’t find Super Mario Galaxy toys in stores, you can still get them with McDonald’s Happy Meals, as the promotion for the new movie is still happening.
