It’s the second book in “The Brightness Trilogy,” and the whole premise is about what happens when people try to avoid death. This company, NewEden Life Sciences, has figured out a way to extend your life by decades, but things aren’t what they seem. The story follows a journalist digging into what’s really going on with the program, and how it’s affecting the people who signed up – and their families are starting to notice some really strange changes.
