Dark fantasy free-to-play turn-based RPG Void Hunters announced for Steam and mobile

Artifex Mundi announced Void Hunters, a free-to-play RPG where you collect heroes and battle in turns. It’s coming to both Steam and mobile devices.

Void Hunters was unveiled at the Future Games Show Live during GDC. The game is being developed for both mobile and PC, and will allow players to continue their progress and play together across all platforms. Artifex Mundi, the company behind popular mobile games like Unsolved and Bladebound, announced their new game today at the Future Games Show Live event during GDC. Called Void Hunters, it’s a free-to-play RPG where you collect heroes and battle in turns, all set in a dark fantasy world. The game is still being developed, but players will be able to try it out soon through alpha testing.

Okay, so Void Hunters is really cool because it’s got a full story campaign, but then you can jump into these ‘Hunting Grounds’ which are basically roguelite missions. In those, my character gets these random power-ups from different encounters, and it’s all about balancing how much risk I’m willing to take to get stronger and eventually take on some seriously tough bosses. It’s a great mix of a planned campaign and replayable, unpredictable action!

This game is a turn-based RPG where building a strong team and developing your characters are key to winning battles against a mysterious force called the Void. Each character has their own unique backstory, abilities, and reasons for fighting. You’ll be able to replay missions to try out different strategies and team combinations. Victory depends on smart tactics, teamwork, and a willingness to take chances – otherwise, the Void will claim you.

Void Hunters is launching on Steam, Google Play, and the Apple App Store, and you’ll be able to play with friends on any device thanks to crossplay and cross-progression.
