It’s been over a year since Yellowstone finished its run on Paramount Network, but Taylor Sheridan is continuing the Dutton family saga with new shows on CBS. Marshals follows Kayce Dutton (Luke Grimes), and Dutton Ranch will focus on Rip and Beth (Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly). In addition to these familiar faces, Sheridan is introducing a brand new family to his expanding universe of shows, and their story promises to be captivating when it premieres.

On March 14, 2026, Sheridan will launch the Clyburn family story with the new show, The Madison, which will stream on Paramount+. The series stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell as the parents of the Clyburn family. While Yellowstone and its prequels explored the long history of the Duttons in Montana, The Madison will focus on a family leading dual lives – one in Manhattan, New York, and the other on a ranch near the Madison River.

The new series, The Madison, will launch on Paramount+ this Saturday with its first three episodes. Unlike most streaming shows that release episodes weekly, the remaining episodes will be available the following week, on March 21st. Season 1 is the shortest season yet from Taylor Sheridan’s shows, with only six episodes total. Production on season 2 is already finished, even though it hasn’t been officially renewed.

The cast of The Madison includes Beau Garrett as Abigail Reese, Elle Chapman as Paige McIntosh, Patrick J. Unlike most of Taylor Sheridan’s other shows, The Madison is a pure family drama, focusing on relationships rather than business or property conflicts, which are common themes in series like Yellowstone and Landman.

I’m really intrigued by this new show, The Madison! It starts with something terrible happening, and then the family decides to get away to Montana for a vacation. From the trailer, it looks like they’re staying in these rustic cabins by a river, which is such a contrast to their fancy life back in New York. Honestly, I’m still trying to figure out exactly why they ended up choosing Montana, but it definitely seems like a key part of the story.

Initially, there was talk that The Madison would be a sequel to Yellowstone. The shows share a similar location, leading many to believe the families’ stories would connect. However, The Madison actually tells a completely new story, separate from the Dutton family. Despite this, fans are still wondering if a crossover could happen in the future, given the close proximity of the settings and the potential for Taylor Sheridan to create a larger, connected universe.
