Hades 2 is now fully released! The launch patch notes show how much the game has improved since its early access period. Available on PC and Switch, version 1.0 includes a lot of changes – everything from small adjustments to brand-new features – that will give players hours of gameplay in the Underworld.
One of the most exciting additions is the true ending, which reveals how Princess Melinoe’s story ultimately ends – you’ll need to defeat Chronos to see it! Don’t worry, getting this ending won’t alter the main events of the game, but it *will* unlock the highest rank, Vow of Rivals. Reaching this conclusion is a significant accomplishment, and Supergiant Games is celebrating it by unlocking 50 different achievements for players.
You don’t have to start a new game to unlock achievements – you might even find some added to your account automatically when you load up the game! Expect a visual overhaul with new effects and art, plus a fresh soundtrack and more decorations for the Crossroads. There are also extra Keepsakes to find. Beyond all that, we’ve made tons of small improvements to nearly every aspect of Hades 2, including combat and character movements.

As a huge fan of the first Hades, I was so excited to finally play the full release of Hades 2, and it did *not* disappoint!
