Young Avengers’ Role in Doomsday & Beyond Revealed by Report

A new report indicates the Young Avengers will have a role in Avengers: Doomsday comparable to how Ant-Man was used in Endgame. Earlier reports also suggested that Ms. Marvel, Kate Bishop, and Cassie will appear together in the film, forming a team and potentially setting up a future Young Avengers storyline in the MCU.

Young Avengers and Ant-Man’s roles to have a big similarity in Avengers: Doomsday

A source at The Cosmic Circus, Alex Perez, reports that the Young Avengers will have a part in the upcoming film that echoes the role Ant-Man played in Avengers: Endgame.

In a post on X (formerly Twitter), Perez explained that the Young Avengers’ part in the Multiverse Saga will be similar to Ant-Man’s role in Endgame. They also cautioned fans against assuming the future of the story based on leaked concept art, stating that the final version will be quite different.

During a fan Q&A, someone asked Perez if there was a possibility of seeing the Young Avengers team up – or at least a portion of them. The fan specifically mentioned characters like Kamala, Kate, Cassie, Riri, and America, with supporting roles for characters connected to them, such as Clint and Scott.

Alex Perez hinted that this will likely happen in the new movie, saying, “Yeah, that will happen.”

According to Screenrant, Kevin Feige, the head of Marvel Studios, discussed the future of the Young Avengers in July 2025. He explained that the format – whether a TV show, movie, or special – would depend on finding the best story and the most exciting team-ups. He emphasized the importance of both the existing Young Avengers characters interacting with each other, and also mixing them with new faces.

Meanwhile, Avengers: Doomsday will arrive in theaters on December 18, 2026.
